Biography
Eva has been writing stories ever since she was able to pick up a pencil and began to write her first novel at the age of ten. She had several successes in poetry competitions she entered as a junior, receiving two third places and a highly commended for various poems. She was born and educated in Tasmania, Australia, growing up on a farm in the countryside without a television, computer, electric lighting or any other form of technology, as her parents wanted to live an alternative lifestyle. She was home educated for two years before attending a local school. She became an active member of the school community, taking part in school plays, sporting events, three separate bands and many extra-curricular activities.She studied Psychology, Sociology, Law, English, Maths and Creative Writing at college, achieving the highest possible score in Psychology. Her Creative Writing portfolio was retained by the college to use as an example to other students taking the subject. After she finished College she intended to spend a year travelling the UK with her sister, but met her fiancé and remained in the country. She worked in the hospitality industry between travelling around the UK, Western Europe and Australia before settling in Guildford in July 2002 where she now works full time as a retail supervisor. She began writing seriously again in mid-2002 and has written two novels in the thriller genre and is currently working on her third. She writes firstly for enjoyment, but with the intention of having her work published.Links
